Sustainable development Minimize
CPFT recognises that it is essential for us as an organisation to tackle climate change by reducing our carbon footprint as well as addressing the wider sustainability agenda. Sustainable development describes the ideal use of resources where human needs are met now without compromising future generations.

Sustainable development happens when social economic and environmental aspects are considered together and that these aspects are not mutually exclusive and can be mutually reinforcing

CPFT has an important role as employer and consumer of resources and producer of waste, which is why we need to develop a sustainable management system that will develop and implement initiatives and targets.
