Most of the help and information in GTRT is available from websites or phone helplines. But what if you don't have regular or private access to a computer or phone?

However and wherever you get online or make calls, you need to know how to stay safe.

You may also need to know how to cover your tracks if a person who is causing you to have a rough time might find out you are looking for help and might make things even worse for you.

If you don't have your own computer and can't use one belonging to a friend or relative, Cambridge Online provides free internet access in the community; call them on 01223 300407 to find out where or see the list on http://www.cambridgeonline.org.uk/about.html, and you can always get online in libraries.

You can contact Citizens' Advice directly for free advice using their "advice hubs" locations.

Get Connected puts you directly in touch - connected - to whichever service you decide is best for you so you only need to get online once or make one initial call to them.

Freephone numbers can be called from anywhere, including public phone boxes, but may not be free from mobile phones. You may want to check on call charges and how to make free calls.

Only use someone else's phone or computer with permission from the owner or the person who pays the bills.

If you have Skype on your phone or computer you can pay to make cheaper calls to phones. Some sites have blue-buttoned phone numbers which make Skype calls faster to dial.

And if the thought of making that initial contact makes you nervous, you may find this video from ChildLine reassuring.
