Art by S3 patients to go on display
Art by patients on S3 ward will be on display in the main gallery of Addenbrooke's Hospital from Wednesday, 21 February until 9 April 2018.

Ward S3 is an inpatient unit that provides specialist inpatient treatment for adults suffering from an eating disorder.

The exhibition, called 'Mixed Messages', will showcase the wonderful and creative variety of artwork produced by the adults on the ward, including drawings, paintings, textiles, prints, clay and sculpture. Quotes and aphorisms accompanying the art works include ‘A smile a day keeps the doctor away’, ‘Which mirror am I?’ and ‘An illness can be more than skin deep’.

Kimberley Iyemere, Arts Therapies Professional Lead has collaborated with her Volunteer Artist Cat Clifford and Damian Hebron, Head of Arts at Addenbrooke's, to make this exhibition possible. Kimberley said: "This is the first exhibition of its kind from S3 to be on display at Addenbrooke's and is definitely worth visiting for an enlightening experience."
