CPFT Governor Elections 2014 - Nominations now open

Nominations are now being invited ahead of elections to find new governors to join Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

CPFT, which provides mental health and learning disability services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough as well as children’s services in Peterborough, is looking for people to join its Council of Governors.

The council, which is made up of 33 governors in total, is the body which advises the Trust on issues that are important to service-users and the wider community.

Nominations are now being accepted from people who wish to represent the following areas:

Cambridgeshire – five vacancies
Peterborough – three vacancies
Rest of England – one vacancy

Nominations are also needed from people who wish to represent:

Service Users living in Cambridgeshire – one vacancy
Carers living in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough or the Rest of England – two vacancies

Nomination forms are available from John Box, Electoral Reform Services Returning Officer, by emailing john.box@electoralreform.co.uk or by calling 0208 889 9203.

Nominations close on 12 March 2014 and the elections will take place between 3 April and 28 April 2014. Anyone over the age of 16 can be nominated to become a governor.
