CPFT psychiatrist wins University of Cambridge teaching award
27 February 2018

Congratulations to Dr Paul Wilkinson who has been awarded the prestigious Pilkington Prize by the University of Cambridge in recognition for his excellence in teaching. Paul is honorary consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry at CPFT and a university lecturer. Only 10 staff are selected each year and Paul is the first ever psychiatrist to win an award in its 25 year history.

Paul said: "I am delighted to win the Pilkington prize, it is a great honour and is in large part due to the excellence of the psychiatry placement all our trusts, so CPFT can take credit for organising fantastic student placements. David Christmas deserves special mention for his work in leading the Cambridge placement and developing the liaison psychiatry teaching in the final year, and Soumya Ghosh for doing a brilliant job of leading the placement in Peterborough."
