Christmas trees now available at Darwin Nurseries
28 November 2016

Christmas is definitely coming - because CPFT's Darwin Nurseries now has its first Christmas trees in stock.

The farm shop and horticulture centre in Newmarket Road, Teversham Road, Cambridge, is now selling trees starting from £16.99.

On Saturday 10 and Sunday, 11 December, as well as Saturday, 17 and Sunday, 18 December, Darwin Nurseries - run by Christine Millar (pictured) and her team - will be hosting a pop-up café selling mulled wine, mince pies, bacon baps and soup.

Darwin Nurseries is staffed by NHS workers alongside volunteers and people with learning disabilities.

As well as a huge range of plants and vegetables to buy, there are also goats, chickens and pigs for people to see and find out more about.

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust provides learning disability services along with mental health, integrated community and social care services.
