Culture, Health & Wellbeing International Conference
31 January 2013

Bristol, UK, 24-26 June 2013

This conference has a fantastic programme which is genuinely international, rich and varied with an excellent mix of oral presentations, participatory workshops across all the art forms and opportunities to learn about practical examples in the field. We will discuss and debate ideas and enjoy some high quality performance. All of this plus networking with colleagues from around the world and plenty of socialising should make the conference a truly memorable event. You will receive 21 CPD points from the Royal Society for Public Health for attending three days at the conference.

Early Bird ends in 30 days!

The Early Bird registration ends on February 28th. The fee is £350 for three days - June 24th, 25th and 26th. This includes the full programme with a choice of workshops, breakout sessions, performances and visits, lunch and refreshments every day. You will be invited to attend an evening reception at the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, which will be showing the exhibition Pharaoh King of Egypt, a collaboration with the British Museum, featuring highlights from the British Museum's superb collection of ancient Egyptian objects.
During the reception you will have free entry to the exhibition.

Sizzle Otakha will be coming from Japan to speak about her work with older people as part of the symposium on Creative Approaches to Care for Older People in Japan, and Dr Gabriel Scally, formerly Director of Public Health at NHS South West and now Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Healthy Urban Environments at the University of West of England, will be the Chair for Day 2 of the
conference and will take part in a debate on Culture and the Social Determinants of Wellbeing.
