Mental health - help develop an app for that!

Have your say on hi-tech development at workshops run by Cambridgeshire SUN Network

Mental health - help develop an app for that!
18 July 2013

A series of workshops will take place across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to allow people to have a say in a new hi-tech approach to mental health.

The sessions have been organised by the Cambridgeshire SUN Network, which represents services users.

The organisation is developing a new mobile phone app which will provide users with contact details for mental health helplines and organisations – similar to a wallet-sized Crisis Card which is already available.

The four workshops are open to all people who are have used or are currently using  mental health services in Cambridgeshire  and Peterborough.

Anyone who attends will get to see a prototype of the app and have their say on information it should contain.

They will take place at:
March Library, City Road – Wednesday, 31 July, from 10am until noon
Zone Room, Central Library, Broadway, Peterborough – Wednesday, 31 July, from 1pm to 3pm
Ely Library, The Cloisters – Thursday, 1 July, from 10am until 12pm
Huntingdon Library, Princes Street – Monday, 5 August, from 11am until 1pm
The Huntingdon workshop will be followed by lunch and then the quarterly meeting of the SUN Huntindon user group between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

In some cases, transport to the venues can be arranged.
