Share your story - raise awareness about research

Each research study can bring us closer to understanding mental health issues and dementia.

Share your story - raise awareness about research
10 March 2014

Our Trust is supporting about 70 research studies with more than 1000 volunteers taking part. We would like to hear from service users, carers or health professionals who have supported our research and would be happy to talk about their experiences and the impact that it had in their life or the life of someone they care for.

We hope that real-life stories will help people understand what they can expect and will encourage them to get involved in our research.

Your story will feature on our website and in CPFT promotional and training material. You could include your name, a photo or you can keep it completely anonymous. We are also looking at developing a short video that will highlight the value of taking part in research. The video will be available on our website and will be used in CPFT public events and training sessions.

If you would like more information, please feel free to contact Iliana Rokkou, User and Carer R&D Manager, at iliana.rokkou@cpft.nhs.uk or phone 01223 746009 (Monday-Thursday).
