Wellbeing At Work is the theme of a special conference being hosted by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The free event takes place on 10 October – World Mental Health Day – and will examine how to reduce staff stress and support colleagues with mental and physical health challenges.

Wellbeing At Work is the theme of a special conference being hosted by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
The free event takes place on 10 October – World Mental Health Day – and will examine how to reduce staff stress and support colleagues with mental and physical health challenges.

The conference is being supported by Cambridgeshire County Council, Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group together with a range of partner organisations.

Speakers
There will be a range of keynote speakers including Dame Carol Black, the country's leading authority on health, work and wellbeing. The Principal of Newnham College at the University of Cambridge, Dame Carol is the Department of Health’s Expert Advisor on improving the welfare of working people, and Chair of the Britain's Healthiest Company advisory group. The event will also hear from Beth Foster from Google who will outline how the global internet giant supports the wellbeing and satisfaction if its staff.

Celebration
The day will also be a celebration of how organisations are working together across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to provide integrated health and social care services.

There will be the opportunity to visit stands and stalls and take part in a range of workshops like mental health first aid, live discussions and activities including Mindfulness and yoga.

Attendees will also be able to network, participate in question and answer sessions and enjoy some uplifting live music.

Charity
Wellbeing At Work will also see the launch of Head To Toe, the official new charity of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The conference will be a chance to hear about how Head To Toe will support patients, service-users, carers, and staff at the Trust.

Who can attend?
Wellbeing At Work is open to all staff of CPFT and our partners along with members, patients, service-users, and carers.
