NHS 111 - do you want to get involved?
29 October 2012

NHS 111 is a new service that's being introduced to make it easier for you to access local NHS healthcare services.

You can call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency.

NHS 111 is a fast and easy way to get the right help, whatever the time.

NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough would like to invite you to get more involved in this project. We are looking for two or three people to sit on the project group and represent patients. It is always important to us to consider services from a patient perspective and listen to their suggestions and opinions.

The meetings are held in Cambridge on the following dates:

  • 31 October: 2pm-4pm
  • 14 November: 2pm-4pm
  • 21 November: 3pm-5pm
  • 28 November: 2pm-4pm

These all take place at Chesterton Medical Centre, Union Lane, Cambridge CB4 1PX.

NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough would be happy to reimburse you for any travelling expenses you incur.

If you are interested in getting more involved in this project please contact Victoria Wallace on 01223 725325 or e-mail victoria.wallace@cambridgeshire.nhs.uk
