Please share your views with us - what’s important to you is important to us

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust wants to ensure you have a high quality service and the best possible experience when you are accessing our services. To help us improve, your feedback is extremely important to us so we know what are doing right and understand where we need to improve.

Depending on which Trust team is supporting you, at some point in your care, we will be seeking your feedback using both the Patient Friends and Family Test and our Trust Patient Experience Survey.

The Patients Friends and Family Test is a nationally set question that asks: 'How likely are you to recommend our ward/team to friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment?'

It also asks you to tell us why you gave that response. A leaflet providing you with more information can be downloaded here. The latest Friends and Family Test results for CPFT and some of the feedback from this - and our Trust Patient Experience Surveys - can be found in the Related Documents section (below).

You can also give further views about the service you have received by completing our Trust Patient Experience or Carer Experience Survey which can be found here.

Compliments
Positive feedback helps to highlight what’s working well in what we do. If we have done something well and you are pleased with the care, support or treatment you have received, not matter how small it may seem, please let us know. You can either contact the service team directly or let us know here. We will pass these to the person or team who are always delighted to receive compliments. 

Comments and concerns
Sometimes things don’t always go as planned. When this happens, please do let us know so that we can learn and make improvements. If you, your carer or a family member would like to discuss any concerns you have about your care, you should speak to the health professional who sees you or the person in charge of your care so the matters can be resolved informally and quickly.

Patient Advice and Liaison Service
As a service user, carer or family member, you may prefer to discuss your concerns with someone who is not involved in your care. Please contact the Trust’s Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01223 726774 (Freephone 0800 376 0775) or email PALS here. The PALS service is available during office hours, Monday – Fridays (excluding bank holidays).

Are you a carer?
Some people have been looking after family or friends for years and do not recognise themselves as carers. To help us, please share your views and experiences as a carer in our survey here. It's completely anonymous and only takes a couple of minutes to complete.
