Specialist Clinical Psychology

We are embedded within the regional Paediatric Cystic Fibrosis (CF) service and meet with families as alongside their multi-disciplinary clinics and offer individual parent and child support as well as individualised and targeted interventions.

Our role is to establish a relationship with children and their families and assess their evolving needs across the life stage and offer appropriate support. Some of our work includes support with adjustment to diagnosis, developing new coping tools to manage invasive and medical treatments, and helping children and families overcome the emotional demands that can come from living with CF.

We also offer psychological consultation to staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, and across the region to support children and their families’ care.
