Workshops and courses

The Psychological Wellbeing Service offers a range of courses to help you develop strategies to cope with the stresses and strains we experience from time to time in life.

Our courses will help you learn relevant cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques to help you break out of negative patterns and to enable you to take positive steps forward. The courses will help you gain an understanding of your difficulties and the associated thinking styles, emotions and physical symptoms, and how the patterns of responding to thoughts and feelings can keep you stuck. The courses will teach you strategies that will be useful well beyond the duration of the course to prevent and manage bouts of stress, anxiety and depression.

Our courses are held in a range of venues across the region and are open to all people accessing the service provided that they can get to the course location.  If you are interested in a particular course, please take note of which part of the region it will be running in.  For additional information about each course, please click on the headings below.

When referring yourself for a course or workshop, please indicate on the referral form your interest in a particular workshop.
