Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is holding an open event to find more National Health Service stars of the future.
CPFT, which provides community, mental health and learning disability services, is looking for more young people to join its apprenticeship scheme.
Anyone who is interested in joining the scheme can visit Block 14 at the Trust’s Ida Darwin site in Fulbourn, Cambridge, from 2pm to 8pm.
As well as finding out about the kinds of apprenticeship administration and clinical roles which are available, there will also be representatives from West Suffolk College who deliver training as part of the scheme.
Amy Rothwell, who leads the apprenticeship scheme for CPFT, and is pictured above, right with one of the Trust's apprentices, Aimee Clements, said: “Since we launched the scheme last year, we’ve welcomed nearly 20 young people to the Trust.
"We need to find the next generation of staff to fill the roles we have at CPFT and everyone who joins our apprenticeship scheme gets a great introduction to the Trust and to the NHS.
"Overall, apprenticeships give young people the chance to learn while doing the role, get formal qualifications and also get paid as well.”
