A Typical Admission

Every admission and young person’s experience at the Phoenix Centre will be different. The admission outcomes will be dependent on each individual and their engagement in our therapeutic programme. However, staff will support young people and their families through the admission with the aim of achieving the best outcomes. On admission young people will be allocated a buddy, this will be another young person on the unit who, usually, would be further on in their treatment. The role of the buddy is to orientate the young person to the unit and to support them in daily tasks such as making meal requests.

If you have any more questions on what happens on admission or what it involves, please look here, or feel free to contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
