The Croft School

The Croft School provides continuity of education for children staying here, many of whom have missed school for periods up to two years. The school has a high staff-to-pupil ratio to enable us to give the children the extra help they often need: the classroom teacher has two teaching assistants. There are usually only five or six children in the class.

Like other schools the children are engaged in reading, writing, maths and science. All the children learn at their own pace and they can earn 'special' time when they can choose things they like to do - such as using the computer, playing with Lego or playing in the sand pit.

The school also helps in assessing children's needs and treatment while they are at The Croft.
