The Memory Assessment Service provides more in-depth assessment to look at any memory problems you might be having. They will carry out a detailed assessment, provide a diagnosis, offer treatment where appropriate and provide advice or put you in touch with services that might help you within the community.

How this service can help you

The service will work with service user, carer, GP and voluntary organisations to provide a range of interventions , carer education and support. The team comprises specialist mental health nurses , psychiatrists, clinical psychologist, occupational therapist, mental health support worker and administrator . They also work closely with the Alzheimer’s Society and offers advice and support to manage your diagnosis .The services operates Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The service is based at four locations across the county .

Cambridge: Davison House, Brookfields Hospital, 351 Mill Road, Cambridge CB13DF. 

Huntingdon: Newtown Centre, Nursery Road, Huntingdon PE29 3RJ. 

Peterborough: Dementia Resource Centre, 441 Lincoln Road, Millfield, Peterborough PE1 2PE (entrance and car park on York Road. For sat nav, use PE1 3BP). 

East Cambs and Fenland: Alan Conway Court, Doddington Hospital, Benwick Road, Doddington PE15 0UG.
