Who we are

Mulberry 3 is an acute recovery ward based at Fulbourn hospital and is the last stage of the 3-3-3 model. It is focused on recovery and welcomes patients from the acute and forensic pathways.

Our mission

Our mission is to advocate, validate and empower those in our care to become the expert of their own recovery.

Whatever you need, Mulberry 3 is here to support you and we promise to:

  • Listen to you, respect you and treat you with dignity at all times
  • Recognise that you play an important role in your recovery and that you are the expert of your journey
  • Respond promptly to your concerns and questions
  • Support you and sign post you to other agencies who can provide independent support and advice
  • To maintain effective communication always

What to expect

If you are transferred to Mulberry 3 you can expect to remain on the ward for a period of up to three months. You will keep the consultant from your previous ward and the team will work with you to identify your goals for recovery. Visiting times

Mulberry 3 is happy to receive visitors throughout the day and only ask that you inform us of your arrival on the ward and ensure that you have signed in at the front desk for fire and security reasons.
