Talk to Teddy
The current pandemic has had a huge impact on children across our region - many spending months of 2020 without seeing their friends, or in new, strange schooling situations, whilst trying to understand a completely different, new way of living.
To help, we funded a project for families supporting their children through this crisis. The ‘talk to teddy’ initiative was started to give families tools to encourage their children to talk about how they are feeling, with books for parents that help them work through those feelings, together.
The bears are even suitably dressed in personal protective equipment to help explain why masks are so important!
