Pulmonary rehabilitation course

The pulmonary rehabilitation course is designed for patient’s living with a long-term chronic lung disease.

Evidence shows that exercise and education will improve a person’s exercise capacity, quality of life, symptoms and levels of anxiety and depression.

A physiotherapist and respiratory assistant will guide you through a six-week course, focused on specific activities tailored to the individual. This will aim to improve your ability to exercise independently, reach your personal goals and improve your quality of life.

The second half of the class is dedicated to delivering key education sessions which include educating you about your condition and symptoms, and guiding you on ways to improve your self-management and confidence to keep yourself well.

Your GP or healthcare professional can refer you to us using the below email address and referral form.

We look forward to welcoming you at one of our classes soon.
