The websites below are for people who are interested in self help options. They offer information and self help materials including easy to read guides on common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety. They also contain tips and strategies to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Mood Juice is a site designed to offer information and advice to those experiencing troublesome thoughts, feelings and actions. From the site you are able to print off various self help guides covering conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress, panic and sleep problems.

The Moodscope website aims to help people with depression to manage their moods by tracking their moods and using a buddy support system.

This website gives information about the overcoming self-help books, offering courses of CBT in book form. There are more than 30 titles covering different emotional and psychological problems and the authors are among the leading mental health experts in their field.

Long-term condition information

NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Talking Therapies provides psychological therapy that recognises the difficulties for some patients with long-term physical health conditions including COPD, diabetes and cardiac disease including heart failure. Leaflets for these specialised services are available below.
