Led by a Non-Executive Chair, the CPFT Board of Directors is made up of eight non-executive directors, and seven executive directors. The Board is a unitary board responsible for ensuring that CPFT is accountable to the public for the services it manages.

Jane Cannon, Non-Executive Director
Chair of: Business and Performance Committee
Member of: Quality and Safety Committee; Audit and Assurance Committee
Jane joined the board as Non-Executive Director in February 2024, bringing with her experience of a long and successful executive career in Industry and Government, and more recently focusing on a portfolio of healthcare roles. Jane is a strategic thinker with a pragmatic yet creative approach and flair for handling high levels of ambiguity. Her MBA had a major focus on formulating and implementing strategy, which helped in her previous governing role at CPFT to hold NEDs to account. Jane has a real passion for and an excellent understanding of the complexities of CPFT.
