How our service can help you
Our new specialist mental health service is for NHS staff. We provide rapid assessment, diagnosis and treatment for moderate to severe mental health conditions, with specialist occupational health support. This is currently for staff who work for any of the following Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Trusts:
- North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust (NWAFT)
- Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH)
- Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (RPH)
- Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT)
- Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust (CCS)
The Staff Mental Health Service is commissioned by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) to provide stepped-up mental health care for NHS staff. Our specialist team provides confidential care and support, tailored to meet your individual needs and preferences. This may include:
- Psychiatric assessment and review
- Psychological therapies
- Occupational health support
- Nursing input
- Medication advice

Referral Information

Access to the service is arranged via referral from NHS Trust occupational health services, or your GP.

Following a referral, the team will contact you within three working days to offer a flexible appointment for a first assessment. This can be online or in person, on an evening or weekend if more convenient for you.

Limited free parking on site at Douglas House.
Is there access and support for patients and visitors with a disability?

Yes. There are ramps to the entrance at Douglas House and disabled toilets on site. Please ring the team before your appointment to discuss any requirements.
