REDS: Treatment options
Why DBT?
At REDS we use ideas from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
DBT is a type of therapy that helps people manage strong emotions, improve relationships, and reduce harmful behaviours. We use DBT because it gives practical skills that can be learned and used in everyday life. These skills can help you feel more in control, make better choices, and build healthier connections with others.
What happens after your assessment?
After your assessment, you may be offered one of the following treatment options:
A pre‑recorded video programme
- This mirrors the content of the standard REDS pathway
- Designed for people who prefer self‑directed learning
- Registration is completed via a Teams form.
- You will then receive a direct link and password to access the course.
Webinar:
- A 12‑week course.
- Delivered in weekly one‑hour sessions by our facilitators.
- Covers the same content as the standard REDS pathway.
- Non‑interactive format: cameras and microphones remain off throughout.
Is this for me?
- Two introductory workshops.
- We discuss the types of difficulties we can help with.
