Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) allows prescriptions to be created, signed and sent electronically to a patient’s chosen community pharmacy.
At CPFT, SystmOne enables community teams to send prescriptions directly to community pharmacies, replacing green FP10 paper prescriptions. The NHS England online prescription tracker can be used to monitor the status of these prescriptions. EPS was implemented across CPFT in 2026.
Quick Reference Guides and Support Materials
Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) are provided to offer quick instructions and assistance on using the system. These guides cover areas such as general use, prescribing and tracking prescriptions, aiming to ensure the EPS system is utilised efficiently and effective.
