REDS: Self-help and community support
Virtual Learning Environment

REDS has created a Virtual Learning Environment filled with helpful information about managing strong emotions and relationships.
You can learn about what causes these difficulties and find practical tips on how to cope with them.
We also have videos that show many of the skills taught in our courses. You can watch these before you join us, or use them later to remind yourself of what you have learned.
There are special sections for family members and carers, as well as for professionals, so everyone involved can find useful guidance and support.

Community resources
There are a number of other community support options that you may find helpful. It is worth taking some time to explore them and see if any feel right for your needs.
The How Are You Cambridge and Peterborough website offers a wide range of local support and activities. By clicking on the “support and activities” section, you can see what is available in your area.
The RCE Wellbeing Hub provides courses designed to support wellbeing and recovery. If you scroll down its webpage, you will find a timetable of current courses. These change each season, so it is useful to check back regularly to see what is new. RCE | CPFT NHS Trust
Another option is the Lifestyle as Medicine Project (LAMP). LAMP focuses on how everyday choices — such as sleeping better, moving more, eating well, reducing stress, deepening social connections, and minimising harm — can improve health and wellbeing. It is not about telling you what to do or demanding change. Instead, it asks what matters to you and helps you discover the healthiest version of yourself.
The facilitators are really good and deliver the sessions well.
