Trust Statement: Darwin Nurseries and Farm Shop

Darwin Nurseries front entrance

After careful consideration we will not be seeking to extend our contract to deliver the learning disability service from our Darwin Nurseries and Farm Shop site beyond its conclusion in April 2028.

We are proud that Darwin Nurseries and Farm Shop has made a valued and lasting contribution to people’s lives in our local community.

In a challenging financial environment with rising site costs, the Trust has needed to prioritise its limited resources towards core NHS services.

We have not taken this decision lightly and will continue to work with Cambridgeshire County Council to ensure continuity of care for all individuals who attend the service.
