School nursing
The school nursing service is for children and young people and their families. They provide screening and health promotion which includes: school entry screening; HPV vaccination programmes for girls in year 8; Meningitis C booster; flu vaccines; height, weight, vision and hearing checks; and drop-in sessions to discuss physical and emotional health. This service is part of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough 0-19 Healthy Child Programme which is delivered in partnership by Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust and Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
