Research Project Development Office

CPFT's Research Project Development Office offers expertise in research funding strategy, grant development, and collaboration to deliver studies. The team can help CPFT staff and researchers develop research questions, identify funding opportunities, access external research design support, and build research collaborations to connect researchers, innovators, industry, clinicians and academics to research and development pathways locally and nationally.
Contact the team for help at any stage of the research funding process, from initial idea and identifying funding sources through to submitting a funding application.

Conducting a research study with CPFT

There are a number of different kinds of projects involving data collection, research, audit, service evaluation, Quality Improvement (QI) initiatives, case notes studies and student projects.  All of them require formal approval and authorisation from the Trust before NHS participants can be approached or data can be collected. Click on the buttons below to find out what is involved in setting up a research study with CPFT.
